Most, if not all, of your law school lectures will be based upon the Method of Elenchus (aka Socratic Method). Your law school professors will engage in various series of inquiry and debate to stimulate critical thinking. We understand that some of you will be scared out of your mind to engage in an open dialogue in front of your classmates.

Study Habits

During your first year of law school, you will basically be studying six (6) core subjects. These are (in alphabetical order), civil procedure, constitutional law, contracts, criminal law, property, and torts.

What it really takes to succeed in law school

First, you must define what you mean by success. Does success mean getting good grades? Does success mean passing all your classes? Does success mean having a balanced life? Does success mean finding your soul-mate? Let’s face it, we all go to law school for different reasons.
